The Australian Snowboard Cross Team is mix of experience and youth, inspired in many instances by two-time Olympian and World Champion Alex “Chumpy” Pullin, Sochi Olympian and current world cup leader Belle Brockhoff, and X Games champion Jarryd Hughes.
The all-important World Cup events heat up again this weekend as the Aussies fly the flag in a host of winter sports. Snowboard slopestyle athlete Jessica Rich kicks off proceedings in Kreischberg, Austria on Friday evening at 6.45pm AEDT while Ski slopestyle star Russ Henshaw competes in Font Romeu, France from 7pm AEDT.

A team of thirty athletes have been selected to become Australia’s first event competitors at an Asian Winter Games when they hit the ice and snow in Sapporo in February.
It was one of the most successful weekend's on record for Australian winter athletes with six World Cup medals, 2 fourth place finishes, and a number of other impressive performances on the snow and ice.
