2017 International Olympic Day

 WA Olympic Day

Olympic Day is about celebrating the Olympic Spirit and the year three and year four students at John XXIII College were lucky enough to have four Olympians visit their school and talk about the Australian Olympic values.

Jesse Phillips (Sprint Kayak 2012), Natalie Burton (Basketball 2016) and Amie Thompson and Danielle Kettlewell (Synchronised Swimming 2016) shared their Olympic journey and the importance of always trying your best and loving what you do.  Following the presentation, all the students were able to ask the Olympians questions including what they eat before a game and what was their favourite part of the Olympics.
