IOC: The Executive Board (EB) of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) agreed today on a set of 40 recommendations that will shape the future of the Olympic Movement. The recommendations will be presented, discussed and voted upon by the full IOC Membership at the 127th IOC session in Monaco on 8 and 9 December.

The IOC Coordination Commission has concluded its seventh visit to the South American host city, satisfied with the progress that the Rio organisers have made since their last visit in March.

IOC: The Seven Network, Australia’s most-watched broadcast television platform, today confirmed the signing of an historic, long-term agreement for an all-encompassing coverage of the Olympic Games over the coming decade.

The IOC has awarded Seven West Media Ltd. (Seven) the Australian broadcast rights for the Olympic Games through until 2020, starting with Nanjjng 2014 and then Rio 2016.
