2020: Istanbul has played the ‘youth card’ in their quest to win the right to host the 2020 Olympic Games.

Squash, softball/baseball (combined) and wrestling are all vying for a spot on the 2020 Olympic program. Only one sport will triumph when the IOC members cast their votes at the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires in September, 2013.

2020: Like all the elections at the 125th International Olympic Committee Session in Buenos Aires this week, the race to be the new sport on the Olympic program at the 2020 Games is close, with IOC delegates having to choose between wrestling, squash or baseball/softball combined.

NANJING 2014: With less than one year to go to the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games (YOG), the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that Olympic swimming champion Chad Le Clos will be an official YOG Ambassador.
