HOCKEY: The Australian Jillaroos and China played out the first draw in the Australian Youth Olympic Festival women’s hockey tournament on Saturday afternoon.
SHOOTING: China has won another shooting gold bringing their total number of gold medals to six.
GYMNASTICS: Australia’s Michaela Whitehouse is shaping up to be the nation’s next big thing, after winning gold in the rhythmic gymnastics individual all–around final on Saturday morning.
TRIATHLON: Australian athletes have proved their worth taking away gold and silver in Saturday’s Mixed Relay Triathlon.
CANOE/KAYAK SLALOM: Although it was a cloudy day things looked up for winners of the canoe/kayak slalom as athletes stepped up onto the podium to claim their gold, silver and bronze medals.
