Executive Officer – Victorian Olympic Council
A vacancy now exists within the Victorian Olympic Council (VOC) for an Executive Officer, based in Melbourne.
The State Olympic Councils exist within each state to represent the interests of the AOC and the Olympic Movement.
The Executive Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the VOC operations including initiating and managing the Olympic Team Appeal Fundraising activities (including organising the Prime Minister’s Olympic Dinner); overseeing the delivery of Olympic community and education programs in Victoria; and connecting with Olympians.
The successful applicant will have experience in developing and managing events and major fundraising campaigns. This person will be motivated, energetic and have extensive leadership experience and a thorough understanding of managing complex relationships. They will also have skills in managing a small office (including administrative and financial matters) with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
An attractive salary will be negotiated commensurate with the requirements of the position and the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.
