Talk with a Champ
Talk with a Champ is a live studio audience discussion, featuring outstanding Australian Olympians sharing experiences about the positive impact sport has had on their lives. The discussion centres on the a.s.p.i.r.e. values and includes a question and answer time.
Talk with a Champ is kindly hosted by a local high school, is aimed at Year 9 and Year 10 students and is free to attend.
Recent Talk with a Champ sessions have featured:
Warwick Draper (canore/kayak), Nicole Livingstone (swimming) and Linley Frame (swimming) visiting Mornington Secondary College, Mornington Peninsula, VIC.
Annette Edmondson (cycling - track), Alex Edmondson (cycling - track), Laura Hodges (basketball) and Becchara Palmer (Beach Volleyball) visiting St John's Grammar, Belair, SA.
Leisel Jones (swimming), Rhys Howden (water polo), Cate Campbell (swimming) and Julie McDonald (swimming) visiting St Peter's Lutheran College, Indooroopilly, QLD.
The Olympians did their best to inspire the students to follow their sporting dreams and spent significant time with students chatting, posing for photos and signing autographs.
