Stephen Stewart

Stephen Stewart won a bronze medal in the men’s eight at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Stewart was the stroke of the crew and was rowing alongside his two brothers, Geoff and James. Stewart enjoyed a post-Athens break from the sport but returned to competitive rowing at the 2008 Australian selection trials. Stewart was again selected for the men’s eight to compete at the Beijing Olympic Games. The Australian crew finished in sixth place at the 2008 Olympics.
