Riley Fitzsimmons

Riley Fitzsimmons debuted on the Australian senior sprint canoe team in 2015 and went on to make his Olympic debut in 2016. 

Fitzsimmons teamed up with Ken Wallace, Jacob Clear, Jacob Clear and Jordan Wood in the K4 1000m. The crew went down fighting in the final to finish fourth behind Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Fitzsimmons won two gold and a silver medal at the 2015 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships and took home gold in the K2 1000m race at the 2015 World Championships with Jordan Wood. 

He started Surf Life Saving at age four at his local club, Avoca Beach and then took up kayaking at age 15.
