Jodie Bowering

At 26, Jodie Bowering was one of the youngest members of the Beijing 2008 softball team. Bowering had only 38 caps to her name but proved an outstanding first base and powerful hitter as the Australians won bronze. Bowering only committed to softball at the age of 16. Her first sporting passion was long distance speed water skiing- her mum was an Australian champion.
