Harry Laidlaw

Harry Laidlaw is an extremely talented skier who won selection as Australia’s Alpine male representative following a strong domestic season in 2011. His strong results in the freestyle skiing discipline of Ski Cross also mean he will race this discipline with his Innsbruck 2012 team-mate Jack Millar.

Harry is now based at Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont USA where he trains and studies. Following the Australian domestic season he spent time in South America at a training camp in Chile as part of the Burke Mountain Academy.

The 15‐year‐old has been on Australian junior teams since 2007 and he has been the National U12 and U14 Champion.

Harry started skiing as a two-year-old to try and keep up with his older brothers who also went on to be very accomplished skiers. Harry was also a talented AFL footballer but decided he loved the thrill of skiing and the travel that the sport can bring.
