AOC:Olympic gold medallist Cate Campbell has joined the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) Athletes’ Commission, after the proposal was accepted at the AOC Executive Meeting in Melbourne on Friday.
Just weeks after celebrating the 30th anniversary of the historic America’s Cup victory, Australia II skipper John Bertrand AM has been elevated to “Legend” status by The Sport Australia Hall of Fame, becoming the “35th Legend of Australian Sport”.
