Brendan Kerry

At age 19, Brendan Kerry made his Olympic debut, competing in the men’s individual Figure Skating at the Sochi 2014 Games. Kerry gave a spirited performance but was disappointed to make some costly errors early in his piece, ending his short program below his best on 47.12 points.

Kerry qualified for his first Olympics by finishing 12th at the Nebelhorn Trophy/Olympic Qualifying Event in Oberstdorf, Germany five months before the Sochi Games.

Kerry’s first coach was his mother, Monica MacDonald, who competed in Ice Dancing at the 1988 Calgary Olympics with her partner Rodney Clarke.
