At the age of 26, Aimee Watson made history at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games by competing alongside her younger brother Callum Watson, 24. The Watsons became the first siblings to represent Australian in Cross Country at the same Olympics.
Unfortunately Watson came into her debut Olympic Games a broken toe, a very difficult injury for a Cross Country skier. She competed in the Sprint where she finished 63rd, just behind her teammate Esther Bottomley. She then dug deep to finish the gruelling 30km Mass Start in 54th, but was a favourite amongst the home fans.
