Qantas is proud to be the Official Airline of the Australian Olympic Committee and Australian Olympic Team.
Since the 1952 Games in Helsinki, Qantas has had the privilege of carrying the Australian Team to every overseas Olympics. In 2008, Qantas provided two aircraft to bring home the Australian team– approximately 435 athletes. In 2016, Qantas bought the Australian team home with pride from the Rio Games.
Qantas is a major supporter of sporting and community organisations across Australia and our Sharing the Spirit program involves a range of activities aimed at putting Australians in touch with their heroes, connecting the city with regional Australia and young Australians with their dreams.

Within Australia the airline group operates nearly 5,000 flights a week serving 62 cities and regional destinations in all states and mainland territories and more than 600 flights a week to over 80 international destinations.
