Australia's oldest surviving Olympian Basil Dickinson spoke of his experience at the 1936 'Hitler' Games in Berlin and how the Team took 41 days to travel from NSW. Dickinson was interviewed when he attended the Kapyla Club (Helsinki 1952 Games) reunion in 2009. Dickinson who competed in triple jump in 1936 passed away on 7 October 2013 aged 98.
