Jason Duff

Jason Duff won a bronze medal for Australia in men’s hockey at Sydney 2000. The Kookaburras had three wins and two draws from its five preliminary round games. Its opponent in the semi-final was the Netherlands, the defending champion. The game finished 0-0, with Australia unluckily losing the penalty shoot-out 5-4. The team showed tremendous spirit to rebound for its bronze medal final, beating Pakistan 6-3 for its third consecutive Olympic medal. Duff’s other successes with the Kookaburras include victory in the 1999 Champions Trophy.
